DentalGoodNews|According to Xinhua News Agency, on February 10, the China International Medical Equipment and Devices Trading (Centralized Procurement) Platform was officially inaugurated and launched in Tianjin, aiming to promote the "global buy, global sell" model for medical equipment and devices. Zhang Gong, Mayor of Tianjin, and Zhang Ke, Director of the National Healthcare Security Administration, attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony.
Relying on this platform, relevant domestic and foreign enterprises conducted the first batch of transactions and procurement intention signings on the same day, covering fields such as orthopedic surgical robots, dental implants, and color Doppler ultrasound systems.
According to the introduction, the platform can provide services including online display of pharmaceutical products, collection and publication of procurement information and policy information, and analysis of market operation data. The platform will facilitate the overseas expansion of domestic medical equipment and devices through innovative cross-border centralized procurement models, formulation of cross-border centralized procurement rules and standards, and international pharmaceutical centralized procurement cooperation.

According to previous reports by DentalGoodNews, the National Healthcare Security Administration held a symposium and exchange event in Beijing on January 17, 2026, listing "relying on the regional advantages of various centralized procurement trading platforms to form an innovative model for international pharmaceutical and device procurement for medical security" as a key task for 2026, and proposed to promote the characteristic and differentiated development of trading platforms in Guangxi, Xinjiang, Tianjin, and Ningbo, Zhejiang.
As of press time, the first batch of signed enterprises includes Shandong Weigao Orthopedic Materials Co., Ltd., Dabo Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and others, mainly involving the orthopedic field. Dental implant products have not yet been officially launched on the platform, and specific transaction amounts have not been disclosed.
