DentalGoodNews|On October 7, 2026 local time (US Eastern Time), Wally Health, an American membership-based oral care technology company, announced the completion of $25 million (approximately RMB 168 million) in Series A Financing, led by investment firm Maveron. Bling Capital and angel investor Jack Abraham (co-founder of consumer healthcare brand Hims) also participated in this round of financing. Wally simultaneously announced a strategic partnership with precision dental medical device manufacturer EMS Dental.
This round of funding will primarily be used for store expansion. The company plans to increase its number of locations from the current 15 to 100 by the end of 2027. Target expansion cities include Washington, Atlanta, Austin, and Miami. Additionally, this expansion will shift the care focus toward a prevention-oriented membership model that does not rely on insurance.
Public information shows that Wally currently operates 15 locations in New York, Philadelphia, Jersey City, and Chicago, with platform membership exceeding 50,000 people, averaging about 3 visits per person per year, and a hygienist retention rate of 97%.
According to Wally, the current in-store examination process uses digital X-rays, 3D oral scans, saliva testing, and AI recognition tools to collect data. After partnering with EMS Dental, locations will adopt Swiss AIRFLOW® cleaning technology, using guided biofilm therapy to remove Dental plaque and stained bacteria, without the use of metal instruments for scaling during the process.
