Jiangsu Yuhui Medical Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as Yuhui Group) held the press conference for the "White Paper on Orthodontic Clinical Insights and Quality Control System" at its Southern Jiangsu headquarters in Changshu on June 22. The white paper was jointly compiled by Yuhui Group and DENTALGOODNEWS (Leading Dental Industry Media, DGN) DataLab, based on real clinical data accumulated across the group's five hospital areas in Changshu, Zhangjiagang, Nantong, Hai'an, and Haimen, systematically outlining quality control standards for the entire orthodontic treatment process.
According to the press conference, the white paper systematically organizes nearly 10,000 de-identified clinical records from the group's five hospital areas between 2023 and 2025 into comparable and reusable quality control standards. This not only fills the gap in unified standards for private dental practices in the region but also provides patients with more transparent references for seeking medical care.

Supporting these standards are two sets of references: externally, the white paper integrates academic perspectives from the National Institute of Hospital Administration under the National Health Commission and authoritative international orthodontic journals, and summarizes core topics from national orthodontic academic conferences between 2021 and 2025; internally, it includes de-identified clinical data from the same period across the five hospital areas, covering treatment records, patient satisfaction surveys, physician qualifications, self-developed full-process SOPs, digital equipment application data, and multiple patents, ultimately condensed into eight chapters.
The rationale behind this structure addresses two long-standing gaps in the industry: on one hand, many private dental practices focus on expanding their clinics, lacking unified and implementable orthodontic quality control standards; on the other hand, patients lack quantitative and easy-to-understand medical references, with professional content being too obscure, exacerbating the information asymmetry between doctors and patients.
At the press conference, Chen Lijie, Executive Director of Yuhui Group, provided a comprehensive interpretation of the white paper. She analyzed the development trends of the national and Southern Jiangsu orthodontic markets using industry data and broke down the core content of the report chapter by chapter.

Chen Xuefeng, Chairman of the Private Dental Practice Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA), pointed out from an industry perspective that the gap between public and private institutions lies not in equipment or physician resources, but in long-term, systematic quality control management. He affirmed the white paper's value in three areas: traceable clinical data, easily implementable diagnostic and treatment review standards, and a focus on the public demand for early orthodontic treatment in children. He also called on more institutions to proactively disclose quality control standards and improve the training system for orthodontic specialists.

As a co-publisher, Mai Zijian, Co-founder of DGN, noted that Yuhui Group has proactively opened up three years of clinical data and honestly marked its boundaries and limitations. In his view, this white paper serves as a comparable orthodontic treatment guide for consumers and a reusable clinical quality control template for peers.

He stated that over the next three years, the group will advance the digital upgrade of quality control, deepen multidisciplinary integration, and extend to full-cycle joint treatments such as orthodontic-periodontal and orthodontic-restorative care. At the same time, it will leverage municipal prevention projects to promote early screening and treatment of oral and dental issues in children and adolescents on a regular basis.
On the same day, Chen Wenjing, the first Chair of the Jiangsu Orthodontic Special Committee, Fang Chengyao, Assistant President of the Group, and the operational directors of the five hospital areas attended the event together. At the conclusion of the press conference, Chen Xuefeng, Chen Wenjing, Mai Zijian, Fang Yuzhu, Chen Lijie, and Zhou Wenqing, Chair of the Academic Quality Control Special Committee, jointly took the stage to complete the white paper launch ceremony.
