According to official disclosures, the YSS platform allows patients to see a simulation of their smile on any device within one minute, with no scanner and no app download required. Depending on the treatment, the preview is delivered in real time via augmented reality (AR) or generated from a single photo. The company emphasized that simulations cannot replace clinical professional judgment and are intended to support communication between patients and dental professionals.

In terms of division of labor, YSS determines which treatments are covered by the simulation and how each is presented, and brings the platform to market through practices, DSOs, and channel partners; Banuba provides the dental AR technology used for real-time previews and combines it with generative AI for photo-based simulations.
