DentalGoodNews|In June 2026, Runyes accepted an interview with DENTALGOODNEWS (Leading Dental Industry Media, DGN) during the 30th Sino-Dental, introducing its new product, the Dental Implantation Teaching and Evaluation System. According to the brand, this is Runyes' first launch of a digital dental teaching aid product.
It is reported that the system consists of three core hardware components: a teaching head model, an intraoral scanning (IOS) data acquisition system, and an MR display device. It is also equipped with a professional operation recording system, supporting evaluation and scoring for two teaching scenarios: implant operation and tooth preparation restoration.

In the implant operation scenario, the operator pre-imports standardized Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) data and the implant design plan into the software. During the operation, the operator can view the deviation distance between the drill position and the preset target position, as well as the axis deviation of the implantation direction, in real time through MR glasses or a computer screen. The logic for the tooth preparation restoration scenario is similar: after tooth preparation, the intraoral scanner collects the prepared tooth data, and the system matches and compares it with the original preset data before preparation to determine whether the preparation volume meets the standard and automatically scores it, covering various restoration scenarios such as full ceramic crowns, metal crowns, and Class II cavities.
The accompanying recording system further extends the teaching applications, supporting three modes: students observing the teacher's standard operation, the teacher reviewing the student's operation process, and students independently reviewing their own operations. This can be used with the system's scoring to assist teachers in providing targeted feedback.
Currently, the system is primarily targeted at dental schools for student training and assessment. Large dental medical institutions can also purchase it for evaluating doctor proficiency. According to the brand, the existing technical framework can be further expanded in the future into a dental implant navigation device, extending into clinical application fields.
