The "National Health Plan (15th Five-Year Plan)" proposes to promote high-quality development of the health sector through digital and intelligent transformation, and incorporates oral health for children and adolescents and oral health for the elderly into key health promotion initiatives. Guided by this policy, Meiwei Dental Medical Group launched the "Together We Build Smiles · National Digital Smile Plan," dedicated to bringing more comfortable, precise, and efficient digital dental care services to consumers nationwide. The project launch ceremonies have been successfully held in 12 regions across the country, including Wuxi and Chongqing. As a global driver of digital dentistry, Align Technology will leverage the new-generation iTero Lumina™ intraoral scanner as a core vehicle to support Meiwei in advancing its digital capability building and the standardized upgrade of digital dental care across its dental chain.

At the project launch ceremonies held in multiple regions nationwide, including Wuxi and Chongqing, senior executives from both companies attended and delivered speeches, reaching consensus on the implementation of dental digitalization, capacity building for private dental chain institutions, and inclusive oral health services for the public.

As part of this plan, Meiwei Dental Group and Align Technology will jointly advance the nationwide deployment of the new-generation iTero Lumina™ intraoral scanner. Nearly one hundred digital intraoral scanners will be put into use region by region, covering Meiwei's dental chain institutions in multiple cities across the country. This plan is dedicated to bringing better healthcare experiences to patients of all ages while laying a solid hardware foundation for Meiwei's nationwide chain institutions to carry out standardized digital diagnosis and treatment.

Beyond hardware deployment, a digital dental exchange and empowerment system will be another core focus of this plan. Align Technology will support Meiwei Dental in conducting specialized clinical sharing and learning sessions on digital intraoral scanning operations, standardized clear aligner therapy, and early occlusal intervention in children; meanwhile, regular experience exchanges on clinical techniques, patient consultation, and clinic operation management will be organized and open to physicians and operations teams across Meiwei's nationwide chain clinics, effectively helping dental institutions implement digital capabilities so that standardized, high-quality, inclusive, and convenient digital dental services can benefit people nationwide.
