DentalGoodNews|On August 30, 2026, the founders of Dental Boutique, an Australian high-end cosmetic dental chain, are seeking a growth partner through Morgan Stanley at a valuation exceeding AUD 500 million (approximately RMB 2.42 billion), and have initiated an auction process for minority equity investors. According to information Morgan Stanley disclosed to potential bidders this week, the institution's Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) expectation for the next fiscal year has been raised from AUD 35 million (approximately RMB 169 million) to AUD 40 million (approximately RMB 194 million).
The institution was founded in 2013 in Melbourne by Dr Reuben Sim and Dr May Chan, a married couple of dentists. It began as a single-location clinic and has since grown into a cosmetic dental chain network covering multiple regions across Australia and New Zealand, with its official website disclosing over 150,000 cumulative patient consultations.
According to AFR reports, the founders have been preparing for this capital raise for over a year. Previously, the business relied primarily on its own funds for organic growth (bootstrapping) without introducing large-scale external institutional financing. This time, it plans to bring in a Private Equity (PE) partner to support the next phase of national and international expansion.
Currently, the Australian dental market is in a consolidation phase. National Dental Care, an Australian dental network that previously operated over 100 clinics, has also been reported to have engaged Morgan Stanley through Crescent Capital Partners to facilitate a sale.
As of the time of writing, the institution has not publicly disclosed further details regarding this capital raise process.
