DentalGoodNews｜According to a report by the Finance Channel of China Media Group, statistics from Foshan Customs show that from January to August 2026, Foshan's oral device exports reached 590 million yuan, up 15.5% year-on-year, with 6 out of every 10 dental chairs worldwide produced in the region; local oral device products have been exported to 129 countries and regions worldwide, with export growth to the European market exceeding 40%.

CCTV Finance pointed out in its report that Foshan has now gathered nearly 1,000 upstream and downstream enterprises in the oral device sector, forming a complete industrial ecosystem. Within a radius of just a few dozen kilometers, enterprises can achieve "one-stop procurement" of core components, reducing the time cost of raw material sourcing and finished product assembly. According to the report, 7 out of every 10 dental handpieces worldwide are also produced in Foshan, demonstrating the region's clustering effect in the global dental equipment supply chain.

The report noted that, relying on technological innovation, Foshan's oral device industry is accelerating its layout in the high-end segment of the global oral industry market. According to previous reporting by DGN, the international brand MANI, Inc. has established its first production base in China in Nanhai, Foshan, with a total investment of approximately 1.2 billion yen (approximately 50 million yuan). The project aims to shorten the product registration cycle from about 18 months to about 9 months through Localized Production, and to leverage the region's well-developed supply chain support to enhance the supply capacity of high-end oral and ophthalmic devices.

Relevant departments in Foshan stated that in the future they will continue to support the industry's iterative development toward the integration of R&D, production, testing, and clinical services, and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing toward digitalization and intelligentization.
