DentalGoodNews|On August 12, 2026, Aoxin Q&M (SGX: 1D4) announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU, a non-binding意向 document) with the Shenhe District People's Government in Shenyang during the 11th Singapore-Liaoning Economic and Trade Council (SLETC) meeting, planning to establish a new dental hospital in Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
According to the announcement, Aoxin Q&M plans to invest approximately RMB 35 million (about SGD 6.6 million) in this project, covering the completed property acquisition (No. 88-7 Wenhua Road, Shenhe District) and ongoing interior renovation costs. The hospital has a total gross floor area of approximately 2,430 square meters and is expected to enter trial operation by the end of September 2026.
In terms of staffing, the new hospital is expected to be equipped with over 80 professional medical staff and 20 auxiliary personnel upon operation, with services covering endodontics, periodontal disease prevention and treatment, restorative dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontic treatment.
Aoxin Q&M currently operates across seven cities in Liaoning Province, including Shenyang, Huludao, Panjin, Gaizhou, Zhuanghe, Jinzhou, and Dalian. Its subsidiary, Shenyang Aoxin Q&M Dental Hospital Co., Ltd., has been designated as a designated medical insurance institution in both Liaoning Province and Shenyang City.
Cai Siming, Non-Executive and Non-Independent Chairman of Aoxin Q&M, stated: "Shenyang has been the Group's core market since the company's inception, and the establishment of this new hospital marks a significant deepening of our commitment to this market. Partnering with the Shenhe District People's Government has laid a solid foundation for our development locally. A customized facility of this scale enables us to integrate specialist care, modern equipment, and clinical teams under one roof to better serve patients. We believe this investment will continue to create long-term value for shareholders."
According to previous reports by DGN, Aoxin Q&M announced in March 2026 its intention to acquire a dental and medical device group in central China for RMB 150 million. The announcement disclosed that the company is bound by a non-compete commitment from its parent company, Q & M Dental Group, restricting its China operations to the northern region since its listing in April 2017. The current announcement did not address the relationship between the Shenyang project and the aforementioned non-compete commitment.
As of the time of writing, according to its announcement, the property handover for the new hospital has been completed, and interior construction is progressing as planned.
